Online dental patient registration forms make life easier for office managers when patients can fill them out from home, before they come in for their scheduled appointments! Part of an office manager’s responsibility is to ensure that the forms are filled out correctly, and that all information is legible in order to be recorded properly. Not to mention ensuring that the patient (or new patient) brings in all the required documents pertaining to the visit. When the forms are filled out at the patient’s home, online in digital format, all of those potential issues are addressed. This frees up the office manager to focus on other concerns that can occur in the office on a daily basis.

It’s TIME to put the WEB to WORK for YOUR PRACTICE!!!!

Avoid unnecessary cancellations! Send your patients appointment reminders via email! Patientdocs.com designs a web based tool that automatically sends emails to your patients. Auto reminders create more patient visits and loyalty.

Dental Patient Registration Forms - Are they Online?

Friday, October 26th, 2007

There is a lot of talk going around the dental industry these days about Dental Patient Registration Forms being made available to fill out online by the patient. At this years ADA International Session in San Francisco it was a topic that created some buzz around the show. But do you really need to have your dental patient registration forms online? How important is it?  The real person to ask… the office manager!

Online dental patient registration forms make life easier for office managers when patients can fill them out from home, before they come for their visit. The office manager has to ensure that the forms are fully filled out, filled out correctly, and that all information makes sense and is legible in order for all information to be recorded. Not to mention ensuring that the patient (or new patient) brings all the required materials to the visit necessary to complete the forms. When the forms are filled out at the patients home, online in digital format, all of those problems are taken care of. This gives the office manager the ability to focus on other items and emergencies that are going on around the office.

So if your dental patient registration forms are not currently made available online for your patients, you need to seriously start considering the option. Doing so will enhance your dental practice efficiency and productivity. Our website www.patientdocs.com will tell you more about our services and how our Med eForms service will help give you want you are looking for with online dental patient registration forms.

Successful Dental Internet Marketing

Monday, October 22nd, 2007

In the recent July edition of Dental Economics Magazine, a helpful article was written by Mickey Bernstein, DDS titled AACD Accreditation: The key to successful Internet Marketing. It highlighted many important things about the importance of having a strong online presence for the dental office. A couple of the notes I highlighted are quoted below:

“Individual Web sites provide an opportunity for patients to preview the skill and artistry of the cosmetic dentist they are considering. On the provider’s site, patients often can view before-and-after images, patient testimonials, and a list of services offered.

Some sites have the ability to complete registration forms and make exam and recall appointments.”

Pretty interesting information. The writer, who is also a doctor himself claims that “eighty percent” of his new patients now come via the Internet. That is a tremendous statistic if it is accurate. Even 50% is a very high number of new patients from the web. This example shows the importance of a website for the dental practice and how effective it really can potentially be.

This has been done in a new attempt to strengthen our already strong existing Dental SEO package that we provide to all of our dentists. For those of you who are new to StumbleUpon, it’s a social bookmarking site that allows you to rate, comment, and share websites. By hitting the “stumbleupon” button on your toolbar they give you when you sign up you are taken to random websites. You can then give those sites a thumbs up or thumbs down depending on whether or not you liked the site.

This provides a perfect opportunity for dentists to be found on the internet.
